The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards is no doubt one of the most anticipated events in the fashion industry. Because of its enormity, everyone is always dressed to impress on that night. I’m really happy when all the celebrity attendees made an obvious effort to look ultra stylish on the red carpet. One of those who always sparkled on it is stylist Rachel Zoe.
I can’t get enough of Rachel lately. She consistently looks fabulous every time she is out and about.
Rachel Was Best Dressed in 2009
Let me take you back to one of my favorite red carpet moments of Rachel. During the CFDA affair in 2009, Rachel arrived wearing a light peach Louis Vuitton gown, which is designed with drapery at the top and even at the bottom of the dress. This Louis Vuitton ensemble looked like a soft architectural piece that gracefully flowed with her every movement. A separate thin draping served like a belt that accentuated her small hips.
Designer Bags and Other Accessories Did Enhance Her Look
But what really set her look apart from other celebrity guests that time was her choice of accessories. She had a gold Louis Vuitton clutch, which looked really chic and regal. The Louis Vuitton bag was a perfect match to the Greek goddess-like appeal of her LV dress. Additionally, she also wore vintage, gold Chanel earrings and gold Yossi Harari rings and bracelets, which complemented her skin tone and blonde locks so well.
Rachel showed how accessories can ‘make’ or ‘break’ your overall look. What I admire about her is that she really knows how to put together designer handbags, signature clothes, and other garnishing in one totally cohesive package. She really does know her stuff.
With that cunning sense of fashion she’s giving us, I am so looking forward to seeing more great things from this celebrity stylist.
